Yes Bama got the benefit over Okla State, but we all know if it would of been LSU in that situation, LSU would NOT of gotten the benefit like Bama did. Bama had NO business being in that Championship game. I don't give a frick if they were better than the rest of the teams. They did not win the SEC and had no business being in that game. To prove I'm correct, no team will not get in the playoffs NOW without winning their conference championships!!!!

You bring up Nick Saban on this board? The dude is about to win his 5th . . . and it's beginning to look like he could get 10 if he coached enough years . .. and you bring him up with LSU football in it's current state?

Yes, I do think any other team would have got the same benefit. That's the result of winning numerous championships in a row. Hell, at the beginning of last year, they were talking about realistic possibilities of the SEC getting two teams in the play off. Auburn got the benefit a few years back when they loss to Florida St. When you have 3 different teams from the same conference win 7 straight NC, that conference WILL receive the benefit until proven otherwise. This is exactly why you should be routing for Bama to win. You don't have to like it. You can despise it just like I do. But in the end, it helps the conference in numerous ways including financially.
