Anyone hearing anything about Jay reaching out to Nate Yeskie, chatter on the aggy board that he's been contacted.

I think it would be hilarious if we got Yeskie. With all the chatter about Jay being difficult to work under, a guy leaving Schloss to go back to what's perceived as a difficult boss would highlight how shitty of a human being and boss Schloss actually is.

I'd like to see him at least talk to Federico at ULM. He was the pitching coach for Southern Miss before becoming ULM's HC. Maybe he could bring his son, the best 3B in the state who's committed to Ole Miss too.

I wouldn't just focus on college coaches. I bet Jay reaches out to some guys in the pros as well to gauge their interest.

I remember their boards floating Yeskie’s name for the job before Johnson was hired, it’s possible he agreed to join Schloss before Jay took the job

I’d have to think that we could not only give him a bump in pay but also set him up for a bigger school to jump to than ULM will. And I don’t think he’s doing a bad job there, he’s just got a huge uphill climb there.
