Which Transfer Makes the Greatest Impact?

It is a slow off-season, but here is a topic to discuss. Many on here would probably agree that Burrow has the greatest impact this upcoming season so we will make things interesting by excluding him from the choices.
Transfers
1. Jonathan Giles- WR (Texas Tech)
2. Travez Moore- OLB (JUCO)
3. Damien Lewis- OG (JUCO)
4. Badara Traore- OT (JUCO)
5. Thaddeus Moss- TE (NC State)
6. Breiden Fehoko- DE (Texas Tech)
7. Terrence Alexander- CB (Stanford)
8. Cole Tracey- K (DII Assumption College)
A case can be made for nearly all of these candidates. Jonathan Giles will be a veteran in a young receiving core, and will likely be a prime target for Burrow. Moore has the tools, if he can put it all together he can be a force on the edge. Terrence Alexander will have the chance to earn PT. Damien Lewis is another name to watch at guard. It is hard to leave out Cole Tracey who will most likely be the team’s leading scorer if he can match his former production.
My Pick: Breiden Fehoko
With Rashard Lawrence being the opponent’s major focus on the DL, this will allow Fehoko to have many 1-on-1 opportunities. Outside of Burrow, Fehoko can possibly make the greatest impact to this team. It may not directly translate to stats, but his role in the defense will be very important in allowing the linebackers to roam free and giving Aranda the freedom to use his exotic blitz packages. Let’s not forget his leadership quality. I have heard nothing but praise about his work ethic and ability to lead. I think he will be a guy that the defense can rally behind in big situations, and for that I put him at the top of my list.
Who do you think makes the greatest impact in the 2018-2019 season and Why?

Cole Tracy.
If he's as good as advertised it gives LSU a major weapon offensively. They've lacked a reliable kicker for a few seasons now.

Obviously this season is going to come down to a good offense. We have the D without a doubt. As for the offense there is a few question marks. However, there's reason to be optimistic. We will have some of the best receivers in the country and now a QB who can get them the ball. So I think a lot will come down to the O line. If they step up like I think they will then this becomes a top 10 team. The others may get glory off his work but my choice is Damien Lewis.

I gotta say, I bought the hype all year. Was stoked to finally see him in the spring game. And he was virtually nonexistent there. I'm now just cautiously optimistic.

I have to agree with you. Since I am 8,000 miles away I watched the film of the spring game and immediately watched Fehoko on many plays and he did not do much. He could not get penetration off a single blocker and kinda bounced off and half arse went to where the play had gone and shut it down. Did not see that nasty strong presence we have been told. Maybe it will come during the season but nothing showed up in the spring game.

Oh, my answer to the OP- Jonathan Giles and Dick Tracey. Why?
Giles because Burrow will get him the ball a lot- 67 catches 1,080 yards, 16 YPC, and 10 TD
Dick Tracey- He will score points and win us 1, maybe 2 games because of his leg and he will be called Dick Tracey by his teammates because he will be slaying all the poon after being the LSU football hero

I agree - Breiden Fehoko seems to be ready to be a force. Nothing in football changes a game plan like a force in the DL that can't be blocked. The combo of having the DL loaded and a guy like Aranda in control could be awesome this year.
Fehoko just talking about the up-coming season gets me excited.

Yep, if he is what we think he is the biggest improvement will be in special teams with Cole Tracey.

Fehoko got pushed around like a Walmarks shopping cart in the spring game. Better choose someone else.

Well since there is no tackling and sacking the quarterback in the spring game, it’s hard for a D Lineman to look dominant. Plus I doubt they are trying to push the OL back so they can prevent as much injuries as possible. Pete Jenkins said he was the best DL on the team last year and I think he knows a thing or 2.

I can’t disagree with the pick of Cole Tracey. He was my second choice. He could very well be the most impactful transfer this season . There is something to be said for a reliable kicker.

Fehoko, Tracey, or Lewis get my vote.

The greatest single impact, I would have to go with Cole Tracey simply because of the fact that we literally lost games last year bc we didn't have an accurate or reliable kicker.
Then I think Fehoko is next along with Ed Alexander and Lawrence. Fehoko I'm hoping is one of those guys who plays with awareness and gets us lots of TOs this year. He seemed to always be looking for a way to get the ball out during the spring game. Hopefully that type of play is being hammered into this defense. It's so much fun when you have a defense that is always looking for a way to turn the ball over.
That's what made T Mathieu so special. He was always looking to strip the ball or turn it over. If you have an entire defense playing this way at the most opportune times, the ball carrier is wrapped up then the second and third guy comes in to get the ball. Or the tackler aims for the ball with his facemask, or punches at the ball as he's wrapping up. These types of plays is what can make a defense fun to watch and it helps your offense as well.
Get on them Aranda and O. Teach these boys how to be aware of the football at all times. When they grab, grab at the ball, make it extremly hard for the ball carrier to hold onto it. The next time he's hit or is about to be hit, he'll be thinking about the ball and not how to break the tackle. GT

Giles. People forget he was a Biletnikoff semifinalist.. he's gonna be good with Joey b slinging it to him.

Agreed.
Taking nothing away from the many others. But we have good players at the positions of the other transfers. But kicking was so horrible last year we need to see an improvement, and I'm hoping if hes aw good as O has said that this will be the guy we need. And win is a game or at least not be the reason for losses.

I just rewatched the spring game and while Fehoko didn’t have any flash plays, he held solid at the point of attack and occupied blockers. This allowed 40 and 6 to run free and make plays all game.
