If a team needs a qb and many do, he will go in the first round. I mean for his size and the hits he takes he is very durable.

Preseason I didn't think he was an NFL player at all. Now I think he may slip into the first round. He's at least a Day 2 pick.

He isn't listed in the top 50 of most mocks I've seen. He could move up with a strong finish this season and a good combine, but I would be surprised if it's into the 1st round. Penix, C Williams, Maye, McCarthy, and S Sanders are the QBs rated ahead of him at this point on most draft boards I've seen. That's just the QBs. Edge rushers like Dallas Turner and Jared Verse will def come off the board before him. Not to mention lineman like Alt, Latham, and Fashanu.

I would guess he gets drafted between 35-40. Which is solid.

But every year as it gets closer to the draft the quarterbacks move up. They may be rated number 45 overall prospect but the position moves them way up the draft.

And Daniels is going to check a lot of boxes in what an NFL franchise is looking for in a quarterback

As of today I think he’s a high second rounder. I don’t see how he gets past pick 20 after the combine

End of the 1st like Lamar Jackson so a team gets the 5th year option. I think he deserves to be a top 10 pick but I don’t think he gets that high:

Problem JD is this is going to be a qb heavy draft. No particular order.

Williams
Maye
Nix
Daniels
Penix
Ewers

To name a few

Williams and Maye are the only guys who it can be said are truly above Daniels talent wise at this point.

Richardson
the biggest draft reach Ive ever seen.

He's like JaMarcus Russell without being a good thrower
