All Sports Bar and Grill in Amsterdam. Game ended around 3 AM their time. I waited all day for the game. Then had to walk back to my hotel.

Camping on the Miss. River. Got so mad I burned my LSU bag chair in the fire. Everybody at the camp was hauling their chairs away and hiding them from me.

Watched the game at home, but had to go to a nice event after. The outfit I wore to the event was the same outfit I was wearing as I checked the score of the LSU/Arkansas game later that year while my aunt and uncle were renewing their vows. Needless to say I did not ever wear that combination again.

On a side note, it is one thing to have a wedding during football season, but to knowingly schedule a renewal of your vows on a gameday is unjust and sacrilegious.

We watched the game in Maui. We were in a bar of 200 people, and everyone was cheering against LSU.

Last week we were at the sportsbook at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas and everyone was cheering for the Tigers.

Boy have times changed.

At the game. Great game .. as much as I like Charles Scott, should have given the ball to Hester on that 4th down. UK fans were total dicks after the game, but I got them w/ "have a nice Music City Bowl" ... which they probably went to that yr, and we won the NC.

I was in Maui with my GF. I planned a trip thinking UK was a pushover, and I'd just record it and watch it. My GF and checked some hiking trails during the day, and I recorded the game on a 6 hour VHS. Unfortunately, I set the timer too short, and the tape ended right before the last play. I watched 5 hours of football, and then missed the last play, only to find out that LSU lost by reading the bottom line on ESPN. Horrible.

We were in the process of building a bar at my rent house on John Henry in BR. Took breaks to watch the game, then stopped during the 4th Q. After the game, everyone was depressed, so I bought a keg for us all, and the bar was done around 3 am. Sweet, but sour...and it all worked out.

Somehow it was just me and the wife at home watching that one. I remember laying on the floor, and being outside pacing a lot.

I'm taking it that this date was the last time that we got beat by UK?

If so, I am proud to say that this date is the last time that I got mad over a football game. We had company over to watch the game and when we lost I acted like a child and cussed and threw things in front of my company. I was embarrassed and ashamed to be a grown man and get so damned wrapped up into a simple football game played by young men who are doing their best, but sometimes just come up a little short, and occasionally will lose.

Actually, it's the same thing for me per my OP. Being incoherently drunk at 8:00 PM and angry in an environment of normals who were otherwise not drunk and angry about a football game played by 18-21 year olds and shaming my new wife put things in perspective for me and I've watched it ever since. It was my come to Jesus as well.

Now, four years later, I bring my first born son, a child conceived just months after that fateful day, to his first LSU game as a bright-eyed and eager youngster to watch the beloved Tigers take on that same Wildcat team.

The circle of life my friend, the circle of life...

Regardless of all that, I hope we destroy Kentucky, I mean beat them so they genuinely consider opting out of their scholarships because of the physical pain endured and humiliation.

On the way to NOLA from Lake Charles on HWY 90. Never cussed at my radio so loud in my life. Walked into my house in time to see Randalls completion to Michael Clayton that set up the Miracle. Dropped to my knees, didnt scream, didnt yell. I was speechless. Couldnt believe we could play so horribly and still manage to win.

except that wasn't the game we played that date...we lost in 3rd OT.

I was at TCU going crazy, cussing/drinking/drinking. At the end I was speechless...I still am about that game

I was at the game. The best part was listening to grown men call in the sports radio show crying. Saying things like besides my child being born this is the greatest day in my life.

Watching on TV, cursing Les Miles and Larry Porter. Then Vern got on my fricking nerves and I started drinking early.
