Where was Anthony Johnson?

I am really worried about his development. IF he cant develop a good motor he will be relegated to spot duty only.

I saw him get blown up by a RB in pass protection in the 2H. Very underwhelmed by his production this year but sometimes it takes DTs time to figure out the college game.

he had 30 tackles, 10 of which were TFLs. easily better than Downs, who had 10 starts to Freak's 3. his numbers were pretty much on par with Dorsey's number in 05, the yr before he became a full time starter. I thought Freak did well this yr.

He had some good games this year, and had quite a few tackles for loss. He's doing fine, just not featured in the rotation yet.

I agree, definitely underwhelming this year. I expected a lot more production from him this year. He had a few good games but I was thinking he would be a beast in the middle this year.

His stats have been better than Dorsey's were at the same point in his career. He improved from last year and should do the same next year.

which is the real head scratcher. even if Freak doesn't start, I'd have liked to see more Mingo-Logan-Freak-Sam fronts. Nevis didn't start a game in 09 but played a ton and led the DL in every category.
