Lower east side or Brooklyn is preferable. Any recommendations on LSU bars in those areas?

You shouldn't. Go enjoy NY and don't attempt to ruin a nice trip.

If you're in Brooklyn get on the subway at the 59th st station so you can get the express train into Manhattan, get out at 34th St.(Herald Square/Broadway)...N or R train

there's an exit over on the 33d St/6th Ave/Broadway side, go down 33d about 2/3 block (past Jack Demsey's-Kentucky bar) and a couple of other bars) Legends is on the right-immediately across from the Empire State Building

Cliff's notes: get off the train, and look up. Go there. Across the street is Legends.

I'm usually there but not this week. You'll have a great time there.

Thanks. It's the wife's first time to NYC so I might be stuck around that area anyway. Should be a perfect spot.

just make sure you're on 33d st.....

and as far as your wife is concerned, two blocks from Macy's main store and a bunch of other shopping in the close area...

I watched the TCU game there last year. There was a giant inflatable Mike the Tiger out front. Very hard to miss.

My wife and I were in the city last weekend and watched the game at Legends. It was our first time at that bar an second time in NYC. Legends is packed with LSU fans and we had a good time, other than the game. If the weather is nice and you have time, check out highline in the meat packing district.

Legends is crowded as shite, but then again I was there for the Bama game. Get there early if you want a place to sit.

They have Abita though, which is nice.

Legends is the place to go but if you can't make it for some reason dba in Williamsburg isn't a bad alternative. They usually have New Orleans beer and drink specials and a person in the back cooking up Caribbean and Louisiana food.

Do they always have the LSU game on there? I've heard about this place, but I have not been.
