There are a bunch north of the stadium/campus... Having said that, I've always parked at the West Campus Apartments and never had an issue. Just plan to get there early!

If you look at that link Chicken posted and go to the Football map, to the west of Alex Box is the Hayfield lot. That's where we park. Our tailgate is there too.

I always park by UREC or the lakes near sorority houses. Nice walk across campus to get there but probably not ideal if you're looking to go to the RV lot

avoid north campus, especially any road named after a dead president

Look at the map provided by Chicken and the traffic/contraflow rules post game. Plan your parking around which direction you need to go after the game, NOT based on the easier walk to your tailgate pregame.

Anybody with half a brain and a parking honey hole keeps that shite private.
Good luck.
I will say, bringing a bike, parking by the lakes and just riding to campus is vastly underrated.

can you get to ag lot from seigen via NB Highland before game, or is Highland SB only pre game? I am thinking 10 am from hotel near top golf to ag lot.

If that is too late for the Ag lot, how about the old front 9 or the rec lot? If i leave hotel at 10 am and can I drive NB on Highland or should I take another route at that time?
Or any other suggestions for that time frame?

Yep. I’d always park about a mile away and have a nice walk through the festivities and get in the spirit.
The plus with that is you don’t get stuck in all the traffic trying to get out of a very condensed area.

Should still be UREC spots in the morning. Leaving can take S. Campus Dr. past the UREC and to W Lakeshore Dr., headed to Stanford/Acadian.

thank you. What is the best route getting there in the morning from Siegen @ I-10? should I take I-10 or take Siegen to Highland NB?

That may be too late to get a spot, but Highland operates normally pre-game. I wouldn't try and take highland the whole way though. It will get backed up coming on to campus starting at the light at Lee. I would take either the interstate to Dalrymple then go back around by the UREC to the Ag Lot or come up Burbank to Parker and take a left on Highland at the gates.

If you are just going to the UREC/Lod Cook, I would take 10 to Dalrymple and then turn left at the roundabout onto W Lakeshore. Could also take 10 to acadian/stanford and go around the lakes.

Call LSU parking and ask what time Old Front 9 opens.

Yes, you can park on the streets in the neighborhoods south of campus, but be prepared to deal with Dicks and Karens who tell you parking is not allowed in front of their house...on a public street.
