Yea, confidence that he'll be the head coach here in 2019.

That and being the highest paid coordinator in all of college football is the reason Aranda stayed at LSU! The problem now is how long will it take Special Ed to realize that he just helped retain the man that is going to take his job when the shrimp boat sinks in 2018. O is not the sharpest tool in the shed but if Ensminger is promoted to OC and the losses start to pile up next season, like we know they will with an inferior OC, what will O do to our program when he finally realizes that he's just a placeholder until the season is over and the coach he fought to keep will be the one replacing him. I'm afraid O knows that if he loses this head coaching position that he will likely never be head of a program again and he may destroy the program in the process of doing anything he can can to keep Aranda from taking his job. Orgeron is prideful and stubborn and that will make him dangerous to the program if he knows his days as LSU's head coach are definitely coming to an end.

I support every coach.

I also don't care who the coach is. Results are all that matters. It LSU starts declining, it's time to get rid of the coach

I'm not however a sky screamer like you. The melt the past few days has been phenomenal

Keeping Aranda is awesome but that doesn't take away from the fact that the team looked like shite in the bowl game vs a backup QB

Name one other program or HC that had to be called to the AD’s office with his Coordinators?

You think that is an example of O being a competent much less good HC?

Do you think they were exchanging gumbo recipes?

ND just needed a FG to win, no?

Correct

As a fan, going for the TD was the right thing to do. As a coach, kicking the FG and taking the lead was the right thing to do

O still sucks and yesterday was still a close call for the total implosion of the program.

Agree. People like me just view this as a certain outcome that lies ahead. I have never advocated getting rid of Orgeron. It has to play itself out. My fundamental issue is that the man should have never been hired. Alleva’s process was flawed.

I am not an irrational “sky screamer.” Haven’t melted particularly over any issue. I just want this administration held accountable when this thing craters.

I have solid reasons for my positions. Been through the dark days with the program and don’t want to go back. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen, but that is where I see it going with this administration and this coach.

Prime example of the glass half full nature of the base.

No one knows if it were close, there were only rumors (including some stating Aranda wasn't leaving) and people melted down in nuclear fashion

Aranda staying does not change the fact that Orgeron is a garbage HC

And if we make 2 chip shot field goals, ND can't win.

They'll still say the same thing, just in a more rational manner. This will be temporary. They are just waiting for the next chance to full on melt. I actually enjoyed it.

Is it really necessary to show us pictures of your wife crying over Clinton’s loss?

It’s a bad optic for you. She looks kinda like Billie Jean King and she doesn’t really like men.

Ensminger wasn't as bad as you are making him out to be.... but you are the sad type of fan that's not satisfied unless we win championships every year.....

They'd still bitch because it wasn't their coach, or their color combo...

It never fails. Why do people always have to come to TD to try and say "I told you so". Why can't OP just be happy shite worked out? That's what's wrong with our fan base. People can't just be happy that something good happened. We really do have some miserable fricking fans.

I can’t believe people don’t get this. We have negative fans, and then we have negative fans about negative fans.
