You didn’t answer the question.

You don’t have an answer other than mockery.
So small-minded of you.

Logic. Try it sometime.

Agree and when did average or better (vague term with latitude) become our program goal. That’s the fundamental issue underscoring our fan base divide.

We shouldn’t be striving for average. We are good now and should be after greatness. Does his coaching record support our program achieving greatness? Do he and this administration possess the skills to achieve greatness? It’s just damn football, but why play the game at this level of you are not chasing the pinnacle.

f coach O was half the train wreck the coach O haters claim he is, Aranda would have jumped ship to A&M because he would know he was on a sinking ship.

Or maybe he stayed because it IS a dumpster fire and O's days are numbered. Then he can swoop in and be the the saviour of the program.

Are we supposed to throw the guy a parade for doing his job? This model is still doomed to fail. I think a lot of people were realizing just how critical Aranda is to keeping the program afloat and faced with the distinct possibility of him leaving, rightfully freaked out. Now let's hope O and Canada can put their big boy pants on and work together towards an SEC west crown next year.

perhaps, but more likely he knows LSU gets elite talent and he'll have that talent to work with every year, so he'll always have elite defenses here. A&M's not in that situation.

In my opinion, if someone has trouble seeing this, he either doesn't care if LSU is championship-caliber, he has a vested interest in O being coach, or he's made an emotional investment in Coach O that prevents him from evaluating him fairly.

Little doubt about the poll results on whether losing O or Arranda would be more detrimental to the program.
I'd have to think this arises in recruiting also, given the mobility of OC/DC positions.
