Us as LSU fans should be proud we have a coordinator that teams come after to make him the highest paid. But instead most of us start jumping on the Coach Because another team wants to make our coordinator the highest paid And poach him

He got the admins to pony up the $$ to retain a great coaching hire that Les Miles made.
Let's see who he picks this year to replace his hand picked OC from a year ago that we are now going to have to buyout because he can't get along with him. He'll also probably be firing Mickey Joseph next month who he hand picked who he selected to replace D.Craig since Joseph can't teach the WR position without the help of an outside consultant.

Idk if “Can give Aranda tons of money” should be your HCs #1 skill

This program is obviously not as big of a shite show and are you negas make it out to be, or Aranda would have bolted
Aranda stayed because he is now paid $2,500,000, $800,000 more than any other assistant in the country (Venables is #2) and $1,200,000 more than the next highest paid DC (Don Brown, UM, $1,300,000 is the third highest paid DC). Aranda is also guaranteed $10,000,000 over the next four years, so long as he doesn't murder someone on the job. O is not the reason he stayed. O is the reason why we had to give him a 45% raise.

O and Alleva know they either sink or swim together. They did what they had to do yesterday. I give them credit for that. Had he gone to tam they’re likely out after 2018.

We are still here all knowing that Aranda is 100x more important to LSU than O.

Right here! I’m here! He still has to prove it to me.

I’m thrilled it worked out but I’m not going to bash at Coach because another Team try’s to get my coordinator

Coach Zero.

Orgeron isn't elite, but he's not as bad as the sky screamers think he is.

If coach O was half the train wreck the coach O haters claim he is, Aranda would have jumped ship to A&M because he would know he was on a sinking ship. However, to the contrary Aranda has confidence in coach O and the direction the LSU program is heading, and that direction is going to make those stupid coach O haters very miserable and me very happy and joyful for years to come.

I think you need another bowl of cheeriOs or two.

Yea, confidence that he'll be the head coach here in 2019.

This is all that needs to be said about the situation:
Arrenda was about to be poached and the entire fan base was on suicide watch
If a divisional rival was trying to hire away O, would anyone be upset at all? Even people that defend him/like him

We almost lost Aranda yesterday. O can't do it without someone elite like Aranda. Aranda is one of the best DCs in the game and hopefully is our HC in waiting.
I'm not sure what your argument is. Are you actually arguing that because O and Alleva narrowly avoided a crippling loss, no one should have pointed out just how weak and untenable LSU's coaching situation is? If someone poaches away a coordinator from Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh, Fisher, it is no big deal and one would not expect the melt on the board yesterday.
Yesterday's melt was not an illustration of "catastrophe syndrome" but rather, it was an illustration of many people rightly understanding just how weak the current coaching situation is and how far the program would have fallen if all we had were Coach O (a figurehead) and an OC and a DC to be named later. This while going in to the homestretch for recruiting.
Its hard for me to understand how people can't see that situation for what it is.
I hope that LSU signs a homerun OC. I'd also be happy if LSU keeps Canada. However, no one should deceive himself into thinking the program is championship-caliber with Alleva making the hiring decisions, O as HC, and the prospect of hiring elite coordinators every year just to maintain 9-win seasons.
In my opinion, if someone has trouble seeing this, he either doesn't care if LSU is championship-caliber, he has a vested interest in O being coach, or he's made an emotional investment in Coach O that prevents him from evaluating him fairly.

... yesterday, Dave Aranda was essentially made the HCIW. He's making almost as much as Orgeron is.
If Ed O has a 6-6, 7-5 or even 8-4 season next year, he will be fired and Aranda will be promoted.
I'm not sure the O pumpers understand what's happening. Orgeron's seat has never been hotter.

Him staying shows the program isn't nearly as bad off as these turds think

Okay, Alleva stepped up yesterday and did his job. Great. It still doesn’t change the fact that a significant portion of the fan base doubts that the administration and Orgeron possess the competence to win SEC and national championships.
It’s really as simple as that, but you Orgeron supporters view this as a straight forward referendum on Orgeron alone, when folks on the other side view this as an administration failure that brought us a flawed coach via a flawed good ole boy system.
You fail to acknowledge that folks who view the administration and Orgeron skeptically remain steadfastly supportive of the program. It is support of LSU that drives why we are vocal in opposition to this administration, whereas you guys are simply vocal in support of Orgeron and his status as a native of Louisiana.
I stand on the side of the program and for the program, not just for the coach who happens to be from Louisiana.
Not a melt or rant, just how I see it.

The last thing Aranda wants you loon is to be a head coach. He makes more money than most of them as a DC anyway.
