Still are #3 and just won a series with #2 losing a series. Maybe the shift Florida and Arkansas, but I think Stanford will end up being #2

The committee is going to bump Stanford up as much as they can. Happens every year.

Stanford had an RPI of 4 last year, 3-1 vs RPI Top 25, and was given the #2 seed.

This year they’re 11 in RPI and zero games vs RPI top 25.

I don’t see it.

We won't win Supers period, huh? The fact that you think this team has no chance to win 2 games at home with Skenes and a much improved Floyd, both of whom can go deep into a game, is laughable. Could they lose in Supers? Of course they could. It is also possible that they don't win Regionals. I think it becomes very difficult for us to win if we get in the losers bracket of any of the rounds, but even that is not a given.

I can’t see there being THAT much movement in the top 5 RPI-wise during conference tourneys.

There isn't. It's more about bubble teams movement, both in terms of getting bids and a few host spots. Top 8 ain't changing this week, imo.

Cmte will be much more interested in how USCe, Auburn, Tennessee, UK, and Bama try to polish up their resumes than what LSU/UF/Ark do.

As for Wake, I'd rather face them in our side of the bracket in Omaha. If they really are the best team then probably have to just beat them once and let them fight through loser's bracket.

It’s clearly three or four now. But it’s premature to call it now before the SEC Tourney is over. So much can change.

If we win the SEC tournament I don’t see how we don’t slide into the 2 national seed

im sure they would. WF #1 and the best SEC team should get the #2. LSU won series against Arkansas and only finished .5 game behind them. If they win the SECt they’d have to be the 2

If we can somehow get hot, go to Hoover and win out…2. Possibly the top seed, depending upon Wake.

Otherwise (more likely)…5.

Give us the 4 seed. Let the other SEC schools and Clemson battle it out on the opposite side of the bracket.

1. Wake
2. Arkansas
3. Florida
4. LSU
5. Stanford
6. Clemson
7. Vandy
8. Coastal Carolina

4 seed sets us up to face Wake with Floyd in marbles game of the CWS. No thanks.. will take my chances in a 3 game series instead.

Eta- floyd could shut them down.. but id rather see best on best

They do, but Arkansas has the West and the SEC Title.

Ark’s Q1: (20-10) and Record vs RPI 1-25: (14-6)

LSU’s Q1: (17-11) and Record vs RPI 1-25: (12-6)

Arkansas better numbers everywhere compared to LSU. Our only belt notch is the head to head.

Idk, I feel like the committee weighs metrics heavier.

Great points on all accounts
