Your logic makes zero sense. We make it through a regional which takes 3 games to win, but lose in a super that only takes 2 to win because of lack of pitching depth?
In theory, you get to the championship game only having to play two games. You then have to get beaten twice by a team who has played 4 games. In theory closing out a regional is easier than closing out a super.

We are build to win 2/3 games ave we’ve done that all but 3 times this years (won 1/2 in one of those instances)
I think We have as much a chance as anyone in the supers if the Bats show up.

Hoover, if it meant something, would be tougher than any regional.
LSU, Arkansas, Florida and Vandy are all going to be national seeds. South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Auburn are in the mix for hosting regionals, and if they were in any other conference, a few likely would be national seeds too.
I don't know about Mizzou, but if you put A&M and UGA in different conferences, they're probably in line to host regionals.
Hoover means nothing for the top 4, but I think A&M wants to win some to be sure they get in. I think South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and maybe Auburn could secure hosting a regional with a good showing.

Heck, it might would be tougher than Omaha.
