Queen is guaranteed 2nd and could go to 1st with a great combine. Where do you people come from?

Queen 25-50

Phillips 3rd-4th, could vault into 2nd with good combine

Never Mind! I thought this thread had something to do with the Royal Family.

Charles will not be a 3rd/mid. Scouting community sees him as a late rd pick at best. Drug suspension concerns will ding him hard. He DEFINITELY should have stayed.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Charles was on his last chance with the staff and he just decided to cut bait and get out while the getting was good.

Phillips should have stayed because he has the body and this would have been his LB corps if he did. Probably could have played himself into day 2.

Phillips has led the team in tackles two straight years & missed like 2 tackles this whole year, what could he have done to improve 3 rounds lol?

So he had more tackles than Devin White last year?

Tackles can be deceiving also. Did he make them 5 yards down field after point of contact (aka DJ Welter) or slightly pass the line of scrimmage for a short gain. I will say there were alot more of the further down the field. Dont get me wrong but there were alot of reasons why this defense was suspect much of the season especially giving up yards on the ground.

I think both Phillips and Charles could fall to the late rounds. Not good choices.

2nd in tackles last year, pardon me

The production is there, there’s not much more he can do

What's Moss's 40 time? I have a feeling he'll test slow and drop.

Same. Dude is a gamer but looks a little heavy footed to me at times and isn’t the most explosive guy. He has great hands and body control and I believe he’s regarded as a good blocker which will help him.

They'll be 4th and 6th round respectively. Phillips may actually not get drafted imo.

I don't see Phillips improving his stock all that much. He seems like a finished product to me, although the lb market could be softer next year, idk.

Queen should have stayed. He could have played himself into the first round pretty easily.

Queen is starting to get mocked in the 1st round in early mock drafts. His coverage ability really stands out in his junior year film. His stock will continue to rise after he runs 4.5

I've seen Queen mocked in the middle of the first round.

If he does well at the combines, he'll be a first day selection.

Please don't quit your day job and become an NFL draft analyst.

At No. 28, Mel Kiper has the Baltimore Ravens taking LSU linebacker Patrick Queen.
....“Did the Ravens ever really replace C.J. Mosley? Not really, though that defense didn’t have many weaknesses for the last few months of the season. Journeyman Josh Bynes took the reins, but he’s a free agent, and general manager Eric DeCosta could upgrade with Queen, a fast, athletic, run-and-hit middle linebacker who is rising up boards because of his play down the stretch of LSU’s title run. He was tremendous in the two College Football Playoff games, picking up four tackles for loss and 16 total tackles. This is a great fit. Baltimore could also address another spot in the front seven.”

I see Queen going in the 2nd, and Phillips going in the 3rd

Queen- 2nd or 3rd, great speed, wasn't gap sound early in the season but played great in the back half of the season.

Phillips- 4th or 5th, can make plays sideline to sideline but the tackles he makes don't jump out at you. Therefore he can seem like he was nonexistent and yet have 7-8 tackles in a game.

Lol I just posted this in the LSU guys leaving thread. Queen is athletic and fast but hasn’t even started a full season

At this point in his LSU career, Debo Jones had never started a game for LSU. Now he’s killing the NFL. The NFL is not terribly interested in what a guy did in college, when he was growing up. They draft based on what they think the kid will do in the NFL as a grown, mature man.
