When will LSU be an NCAA tourney site again?

Aside from Dayton...
Carrier Dome in 2015.
Texas hosted in 2013.
Rupp hosted in 2013 and is a future tourney site, but I guess that isn’t on campus.

The reason you don't see that anymore is because of what happened with LSU and the run they went on that year. The home court advantage was so great back then for LSU that the higher seeded teams complained (especially after they got knocked off) by LSU in a raucous atmosphere

It was a different time then. LSU was selected home site before the tourney started and the committee then wanted butts in seats, t.v. $ wasn't near what it was today.
I can tell you Gene Keady and that whacko that coached Memphis weren't happy about it. Memphis coach was calling Dale Elmer after the game.
Ahh....but those Memphis St. cheerleaders or was it dance team?

The Pit at New Mexico hosts as well. That nobody goes when the 1st weekend is in NOLA would work against the PMAC hosting even if LSU did bid.
