No one who cares enough to join TD, come here during a game and post are “fake” fans. Folks simply have too much of themselves tied to the fortunes of LSU athletics, and get too worked up and anxious.
Posting negative stuff is how most deal with the anxiety.
Hell, I’d be willing to bet a lot of those “fake” fans actually donate money to LSU or attended the school.

I agree that most lsu fans are way too emotionally invested in the score of any game. However, I disagree that the majority of the whinny bitches on TD are donors or alums. I think they are a bunch of kids. Or 40+ year olds that never grew up and have never faced adversity.

They just don't understand the game of baseball. They expect to not only win every game but dominate every inning of every game.
They were bitching on Friday about winning an SEC game because Alabama scored a few runs and made the game tight late.
They can't grasp that unlike football there's zero chance that you will win every game and that there will be some games you will lose against teams that you're far superior to. And that most games against SEC teams are going to be hard fought close games throughout.

The problem is that too many fans that dont fully understand the complexities of baseball, come in and try to apply football logic and that just doesnt work.
You are absolutely going to lose baseball games. Some games are more important and some games you can use to work on things. Not saying you dont want to win them, they just dont carry as much weight.
Baseball games literally change on every pitch and most people dont understand just how much they change.

It’s called being a passionate fan about your team. Everyone reacts differently in different situations. It’s called being human and I for one can give two shits either way. You coming in here and posting what you posted is no different

People here care way too much about how other men and women act and consume sports.
This board has turned into a bunch of “gotcha” moments. I’d say 90% of the new posts on this board during a baseball game are calling out other posters.

Those are terrible posters and even worse fans.
Nobody want to be next to someone like that during a game. Glass is always half empty and I’m sure that reflects in their day to day lives.
