How about we drug you, cow prod you and put your arse in a cage and drag your arse around the stadium while people scream at you.

It's not right putting something that is that big, that high strung, hemmed up in that small cage with a 110000 mostly drunk fans yelling their lungs out

Peta can suck a fat one.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you should know that this is not a PETA issue.
LSU is an institution of higher learning and home to one of the 30 or so veterinary schools in the country. They are committed to the operating Mike's habitat and CARE with the highest standards.
"The tiger habitat and LSU’s animal care plan are licensed by the USDA. The facility, tiger and animal care programs are inspected annually to ensure that they comply with the Federal Animal Welfare Act and other USDA policies and guidelines."
"It is a violation of federal law to sedate Mike for exhibition purposes like football games."
I assume that LSU is continuing pursuit of becoming an accredited Tiger sanctuary.

That’s hilarious. That IS the whitest picture I’ve seen in a long time time!

My contention is we should build a tube to the Northwest portion of the stadium and Mike can come to the games if he wants to. Totally voluntary.
Build a small enclosure up there and throw some raw meat in it. Maybe he will join us.
I bet he leaves early though to beat the traffic.

Never heard them chant “War Tiger” or War Plainsman” either. Them frickers need to make up their minds what they are and stick with it.

The Department of Agriculture, which certifies Mike's Habitat and only allows travel under very limited circumstances, matter immensely.
1) Theres a new sheriff over the Dept of Ag
2) Doesnt seem to be an issue for the other 35 schools with live mascots

Shasta the Cougar (the only other predatory cat that serves as a live college mascot) never leaves it's habitat in Houston.

Our best years Mike was not parade around the stadium.

Yeah, the rules should absolutely be the same for Mike the Tiger and Bevo.

It's as white as a lynching rope.
It's as white as a cracker.

Let's face it - Mike VII is soft.
If Mike is so soft, would you be willing to enter his cage and pet him?

Anyone have an idea what year this photo was taken? Not a car expert, so I have no clue what car that is or what year it might be.

When I was in college Southern had a live jaguar. I don't know if they still do.
