When was the last time an LSU team has played to their potential?

Last night was so refreshing to see. LSU actually playing like they are supposed to. Now will it be enough in the long run, only time will tell, but I feel better about this year than I have felt in a long time after the first game.

Great point... with a lot of freshmen too

Maybe Bama in '11... 9-6. LSU beat a great team that night...

If that was it's potential then I'm worried about this year. LSU made a lot of mistakes that they won't be able to do against good teams. It isn't like BYU is a top 25 team

as far as wins? or titles?

titles? 2007

wins? IDK. 2003 and 2007 both shoulda been undefeated IMO. so who knows. 1958 team?

I mean, 2011 team? Went undefeated regular season. We stomped the teams we were suppose to win and won the big games. I think the only game that season I was worried about was Bama (9-6) .That was a complete team, just lost it in the NC.

More refreshing than this?

Back half of 2017 after the Florida game was as good as I could have asked for. Losing to Arkansas and Ole Miss in previous seasons had really pissed me off

Always!! A coaching staff is part of the team so whether they are holding the team back or letting them roll, the potential for that team in time is being reached.

Well I could fake cancer, fake a trailer burning down, fake pretty much anything else because I crave attention from a message board. However, I will choose not to do any of that.

If that's playing up to our offensive potential, we have serious problems coming up in SEC play.

I really like how Coach O is letting his coordinators control the game. He clearly learned from his mistakes in the past.

Maybe the 4th down attempt was silly but the game was in hand at that point. Obviously we won't do that in a big game.

Would be the most important part of his development. LSU has two of the best coordinators in CFB

7 trips inside the redzone is fantastic ...3 touchdowns as a result is not.

Some of you are just looking for any exaggerated reason to illustrate a point to support your CheeriO agenda.

My favorite is how refreshing it is to have such a clear concise speaker now as HC hahahahha
