Jayden's statue must have a huge smile, no matter the pose.

A knowingly unpopular opinion: I dunno if Jayden is worthy of a statue. Heisman alone is far from being the role of that. You need to be a lot more influential than Jayden ever was. Perfect example being Joe walking out on senior night with a Burreaux jersey. That’s the kind of love and passion for the school you need to have to get that kind of memorial. In addition, you need to make a name IMO at the next level. I know it’s not his fault, but you are putting Jayden at the same level as a QB who was on arguably the best team in the history of the sport.

Now let me ask you this. How do you feel about Brennan

You might be setting the bar a bit too high.

For Burrow it would be the iconic run during which he pointed for the downfield blocking.

For Daniels it would be the moment he crossed the goal in OT against Bama. Arm straight down and looking back at the defender with a big smile.

there was a photo on the Rant last week that showed both Burrow and JD5 pointing while they ran, and they were side by side. Great picture and I think would make a great dual statue....same pose, side by side.

Yep, Joe’s moon shot was spectacular! And his later comment that the almanac had said there would be a full moon in Mississippi…

I've seen no indication that the outcomes of 2019 or 2023 would be any different if they swapped places except Daniels likely still wins the Heisman and Burrow wouldn't.

Jayden is not getting a statue. Great player, but no.

I like when Jayden was rushing for the TD and looked back at the defenders.

Then you either haven’t really been looking or you forgot.

Yards or stats aside, 2019 scored with absolute ease, and never failed to get what they needed.

The offense this year got the ball multiple times late in the game against Ole Miss and only was able to do something with it once.

That had nothing to do with the defense.

And that’s just the first that comes to mind. He *could* possibly do it. But to say there are zero indications otherwise is just lazy groupthink parroting the crowd.

Don't want to highjack the post, but what made Burrow the GOAT was the Michael Jordan-esque leadership skills. No way 2023 goes the way it did with Joe on that sideline. Not taking anything away from Jayden, but Joe was just different.

Maybe the Heisman pose from the sideline?

Yes, w/ Nuss next to him playing air guitar (for when he inevitably wins it)
