Proper roles for JJ:

1. signal in plays
2. scout team
3. situational goal line plays

Especially someone that didn't put himself in the same position as JJ.
Lee broke curfew.

The reason he'd start Jefferson is because he and his staff believe that Jefferson gives LSU a better chance to win. That's the only reason. The same reason why Jefferson started last year.

Especially after JJ missed a month of practice with the team and 3 (going on 4) games
He'd ease him back into the starting role.

You are assuming he still feels this way.

Agreed.

Until Les thinks he's ready to start.

I hope you are being sarcastic

If not why the hell would you let him play every 3rd possession?
So he won't fricking sit on the sidelines and pout? Some of you are mentally challeneded when it comes to football.

I will agree with whatever decision is made since he knows all the facts and knows the QBs abilities and the team.

That said, if he starts JJ and we are still undefeated, I'll be really really pissed if we lose and have an anemic 2010-style offense while losing.

Exactly.

What if Les likes what he has seen from Lee thus far.

Jefferson will be 1B, and come in to lead the red zone. The way the FGs have been coming fast and furious, that may be the silver lining in all of the JJ suspension stuff

Wait! Aren't we currently 100% in the Red Zone, with 80% of those being TDs?

I think we are a better team with JJ then without. Rewatched the game again last night an JL almost had a pick 6 had the receiver not been a moron. He makes good intermediate throws and runs the offense well, but he still scares me when he throws to the side line. Just not enough zip.

We might very well be better with JJ if he has improved as much as some say.

Yes, of course.

The question is why would Miles start Jefferson.

The answer is Miles would start Jefferson because he and his staff believe that Jefferson gives LSU a better chance to win.

I don't think lee gives a frick what jj does.
Its his team now he's playing with more confidence each week.
He prpb has the attitude of come take it from me if you think you're man enough.
That would be mynoutlook if I were Jlee.

Live with whatever he decides because Les won't be swayed by fans.

Will it tear the locker room in half and destroy the season?

We would have to start losing and Les would have to be sticking with Lee for that to happen.

It wouldn't be an issue if JJ hadn't beaten out Lee 3 years in a row.

Yeah. I'm glad Les kept the same OC because he understood it was a QB problem.
