In that game Jefferson also had 2 interceptions, and was 3/10 for all of 30 yds. We were down late and needed a drive to win.

Lee engineered that drive.

Right. What is exactly your point here?

I'm pointing out to RobbBobb that the "we're 3-0" line of thinking isn't watertight.

If Wing showed this week that he can kick the ball in the endzone on ever kickoff, should we not let him handle kickoffs because "we're 3-0?"

What you find funny, many of us find deflating. If you haven't seen how bad JJ is over the past two years...you will never see it.

Over your head, at about 50,000', is the point of Antonio Moss's post.

This is incredibly obvious.

How is it obvious? Didn't JJ have a couple good games last year? We had the same OC.

How do you improve on 3-0???

The key word is in bold. The team ahs played REALLY well so far. Through the first 4 games of last year...not so much.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Last year was broke and we barely held it together with spit and duct tape.

This year, not so broke. No need to fix A N Y T H I N G.

It is the issue that is implicit in TheDoc's post.

I posted TheDoc's post. I explained it.

He did when the offense was actually simplified for him.

Right, and everything was fine last year because LSU was 11-2.

Does anyone believe JJ should have the starting job coming in? Just curious.

You like predictable playcalling out of package-based offenses?

You like mass substitution confusion?

Did you not watch the end of the Tennessee game?

Perhaps you prefer having little or no time after breaking the huddle?

Have you not noticed the return of the play action pass?

How would any of us know who is responsible for any of this?

Coming into 2011, or coming in from suspension?

If into the 2011 season, then yes...I agreed with Miles that JJ, slightly, gave LSU the best chance for success.

If you mean coming out of this suspension, then absolutely not...even if he had gotten much better as the staff was suggesting, he clearly would not be ready to go right out of the gates.

Are you trying to convince us this is the OCs fault? Everything in your list points to lack of comprehension from the signal caller???

4 games where he "didn't play too bad?"

versus 3-0 with 3 passing tds? It isn't even October yet.

we only had 4 all of last year...4.

We all ought to know who's NOT responsible for them...and that's LSU's QB, whoever he may be.

It was his to lose. I don't think anyone thought JLee would play as well as he had.

Go to 2 QB system. Input JJ in red zone and let the defense have to worry about a pass or sneak.
