Not from the sideline.
Here, you can watch for yourself:
JJ called a sneak with 7 seconds left...as they were coming up and getting set?
how do you know this?

Came from a player who was on the field. Not the best player talent wise, but probably the smartest player out there.

When the coach cannot send in more than one play at a time, because the QB cannot comprehend that much, there will be confusion in hurry up scenarios
quote:
We should have called two plays with our goal-line personnel so we would have gotten two plays, or we should have called the run and the clock. That’s what should have been called, but that’s not what happened. What happened is we send that one in without the second play call.
Les says himself that the coaches messed that up.

Can we all admit that the clock management looks much better this year, and that Lee statistically against very difficult competition looks good and why frick up a good thing?
Folks that say that JJ should be given the reigns as soon as he comes back and shouldn't have to earn it are high as a kite. Let's focus on whupping West Ginny.

God I hate this thread. Typical LSU fans ready to blame people for something they haven't done yet.
At this point I think Lee or JJ could easily handle the QB duties, I don't think it matters. We run the simplest offense, rarely throwing to post routes. We're a run-first offense, we've just had incompetence at QB and OC for so long that fans lose site of that.
Remember the last two QBs to win us a championship? Either of them in the NFL?
I agree don't fix what isn't broken, but we don't know what it's like in that locker room and we don't know what it's like on the practice field. I'm getting sick of people thinking Les Miles is an idiot after all he's done for the program. Miles only real problem was his loyalty to Crowton for so long.
