That'd be amazing if he got to be the one to fire Orgeron.

I feel like he’d have to be hired after O was already fired

Plz never there’s not a single reason Miles would make a good AD. You people’s obsession with this clown just proves how out of touch with reality the Rant truly is.

You do realize, basically this entire coaching staff (minus Canada) is Miles'

He didn't have a problem attracting top notch coaching talent--he just had a stubborn philosophy about offense.

the fact that Les just bought a new house in BR and seems dead set on remaining a local makes me think he's waiting on something like this.

Yeah, this has me interested about things. Les is pretty definitely retired from coaching, has plenty of money, and has no ties to the area before he came a decade ago. And let's be blunt: Baton Rouge isn't in the Top 100 places you want to live in. We're not beachfront or close, not mountains or close, we do have a pretty heavy crime rate, awful economy, bad educational system. And we fired him.

Yet, he's hanging around for ... something.

Seems pretty absurd to think of Miles getting a job that isn't even open when he can't get one that is.

Whenever LSU fans revolt like Tennessee fans did. They may be an embarrassment to the SEC right now but at least their fans have some balls.

Les would probably name BDP as head football coach.

Do you realize the recent UT fan uprising was Salem witch trials 2.0?

Why not make the Tiger Band director the AD? WTF does being a head football coach have to do with being a good AD? Tennessee just made a huge mistake. LSU should hire proven executives who have worked as CFOs or COOs of Professional teams or as ADs/Assistant ADs of college programs.

Joe worked pretty hard behind the scenes to get Miles fires; it would be sweetly ironic if Miles replaced Joe.

There is some speculation that O did too, so the irony would be double if Les would then be O's new boss.

Don't see it happening, but it would definitely be interesting.
