All you knighting for MB need to wake up. He’s been here how long and and still can’t prove he’s the guy?
Let’s see….. Brennan was named the starter in 2020 and started all the games until he got injured vs Missouri. Then he was the projected pre-season starter in 2021 until he was injured in an off the field freak accident. Sounds like he proved he’s the guy already.
And honestly, who gives a frick who plays and who starts as long as the Tigers are successful and contend for championships? You don’t have to hitch your wagon to any particular player. They are all Tigers. Board the LSU bus and enjoy the ride!

I predict the Monday before Florida state. MB era.
Maybe that’s when he’ll announce it, but we’ll know a couple of weeks before that. They have to start funneling the first team reps to the eventual starter or else risk being less prepared.

Will announce On game day like normal

I hope he doesn’t. Just to see the media and fans squirm, and cry.

Unless there is a clear favorite let them compete.

Let’s see.. Daniels has started 6 times as many games as Brennan

The only ones wondering who will be the starter are on here.
Brennan is our starter and that hasn’t deviated. He has to get injured or play poorly to get surpassed.

I’m sure he knows who is going to start right now but he will likely keep it to himself to keep the competition honest to hopefully improve the whole room and wait until he has to.
Ps it’s going to be Brennan, no inside info but thats who will start on day one.

I see people make this statement here and it's confusing.
I don't really care who starts but when exactly did Myles not prove he's the guy?

Myles Brennan will be your starter with Nuss as a close 2nd. Daniels will be wildcat formations and clipboard holder, since he likes to run.

10 tds to 10 ints last year in the pac 12 isn't getting you the starting job in the sec.

What a problem to have.
Three QBs capable of winning a championship.
Spring practice doesn't mean much.
I watched replays of Daniels performance at Arizona. Pretty impressive. Nothing like the Spring game.
Second week of practice and we will know the top two, according to OC.

According to everything I read reported by various people during the 15 spring practices was that Nuss was easily the most consistent and best QB throughout the spring practices.
Those reports also said that Nuss threw far less interceptions relative to the other two QBs in those spring practices as well.
Of course, those reports were ignored by the majority of people who had it in their minds that it was a competition strictly just between Myles Brennan and Jayden Daniels.
Then in the spring game in which Brian Kelly made as game like as possible so as he said, he could see which QB performed the best under game like conditions, Nuss performed the best by a mile.
As he was the only QB to score on everyone of his four possessions and he threw several NFL level passes that both Brennan and Daniels can only dream of throwing in their wildest wet dreams. He also got the ball out of hands far faster and operated the new offense far smoother relative to the other two QBs.
Not to mention that even the ESPN announcers after his last touchdown pass to Jack Bech said Nuss had won the day, and earlier after Nuss scored on his third possession, those same ESPN announcers were so enamored by Nuss' play and his elite arm talent that they said Nuss has the "it factor".
Nonetheless, you mention those facts to a Brennan homer and they all say none of that counts. Brennan will be the starter.
It's like Brennan supporters all believe Brian Kelly's QB competition was nothing but a big charade and that it is preordained that Brennan will be named the starter. I disagree. I believe Brian Kelly will be very intellectually honest when deciding to name the starter and there are going to be a lot of very disappointed Myles homers.
Furthermore, even Kayshon Boutte, who has watched all the present QBs play since forever, has come out publicly to say that Nussmeier should be named the starter because Nuss is the QB who will win the most games for LSU and possibly even another national championship if lucky. As Kayshon Boutte is one of those Tigers that believes LSU is going to make another run for a natty in 2022.
Not to mention that Kayshon Boutte also has everything riding on the success of the 2022 season. As his draft stock largely hinges on it.
I know a lot of Myles' homers don't pay attention to or even care what Kayshon Boutte says, but I think they are making a big mistake. As I believe what Kayshon Boutte has said publicly will carry a lot of weight.

MB comes out, gets sacked, and shatters into a million pieces like a porcelain vase.
