1984 vs Bama at Legion Field (before Bama went back to playing in Tuscaloosa). Tornado spotted nearby, but the game continued and Tiger fans made it seem like a home game as we won in Birmingham for the 2nd time in a row after losing 12 in a row to them!

Two great trips but with two football losses.
UCLA and Notre Dame.
A few days in Paso Robles then a few days in Pasadena made for a nice vacation, then we went to Vegas for a few more days because MSY was cloved after Hurricane Ida.
Wen t to Noter Dame in 1978 when the Tigers lost a shootout despite Kevin Faulk's heroics.
Wisconsin in Lambeau Field was another memorable trip, but again we lost.
Same with USC in Vegas last year.
The Oregon game in Dallas was a win and the new Jerryworld Stadium is the best one I have been to.
Back in the 1960s and 70s we used to have great times at the LSU- Rice games in Houston.

I enjoyed the trip to Washington in 2009. Went to Pike's Fish Market and got caught up in the excitement of "throwing fish" and ended up buying $300 worth of Halibut. They packed it and sent it to my hotel. I took it home on the plane the next day. Campus was nice and the stadium is old but literally rocks and shakes when the crowd gets into it. Some boat up the sound to the western end zone and drop anchor out there. It was a cool road trip and we beat em, so that always makes it better.

Dalton Hilliard and beating the Bear in Birmingham. The Bear died not too long after that.

1998 Notre Dame. Dad took me as a kid. We stayed in Chicago and took the train to South Bend. Stadium was cool and game was fun execpt we lost. Herb Tyler threw an incomplete pass to Abram Booty in the end zone that was incomplete. That wouldve either won or tied the game, i cant remember.

Washington game in Seattle. Beautiful. Neat old historic stadium. Hit a lot of tourist stuff and some great seafood restaurants.
Some people had gone early and stayed a week then went to the game and left; others, like us, got there the day before the game and then stayed a week. So there were LSU fans there for the better part of two weeks. People were talking all around town about how many LSU fans were in the city.
On our last morning we were at breakfast in the hotel downtown, can't remember which one it was. I said to the waitress, "I bet yall can't wait for all these LSU fans to finally go home and let this place settle down again." She said, "Man, this town hasn't been this much fun in a long time! You guys have been great!" She said it was her best tips week ever.
It was the best trip.
Next I guess was the trip to Lambeau. It was great to visit the stadium, and the museum, and load up at the stadium store. Of course Les fricked up the game. But it was a fun experience. I learned a long time ago, you can't base the success of the trip on whether the Tigers win, you have to enjoy the trip for itself.
But the BEST part of that Lambeau trip was Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field, it was overrun with purple and gold, there was lots of comment about it and several people asked me what was going on. They even flashed up on the scoreboard "Welcome LSU fans" or something like that, it was really cool. May never happen again.
On the drive back we stopped at the Cheese Castle in Kenosha and bought jagdwurst and cheese curds, treats and T-shirts, and a bunch of other shite.
One to remember as well.

Siblings and I went to Tempe in 2005. As we were walking in, noticed a large stack of cash on the ground. It ended up covering all of our expenses and then some.

Auburn is underrated, IMO. Especially if you’re in/right out of college. Fun bars, safe little town, good looking girls.
Bama and Georgia are always great too. Florida isn’t great.

Norte Dame in 1978. Ran into a Holy Cross Brother who taught me in high school. Stadium looked like City Park stadium from the outside before they expanded it. Next day we went to a Cubs game & it seemed like everyone was wearing an LSU shirt.

Bloomington Indiana during the filming of the movie Breaking Away. Beautiful town and campus but we lost in a big upset. Second goes to our “home” game AT Ariz St in 2005 - everyone was so nice and we won a thriller

Been to 75% of the SEC schools with my favorite being Athens.
I don’t do neutral site games. Lame idea.
Out of conference, been to Notre Dame, Arizona State, Washington, and Texas 2019. My favorite was actually Arizona State. Lots of pretty ladies, good weather and scenery, I loved Sun Devil Stadium and at the time it was a great respite from Katrina. I would say my #2 was Washington. The people were really nice and I enjoyed hiking in Mt. Rainer Park the day before gameday,

Beating USC in Los Angeles in 1984. Where's the Horse?

LSU @ Rice, 1964. In spite of the final score, it was a GREAT football game, with lots of offense in between the twenties by LSU-- lots of passing and running by Pat Screen, and the backs Joe Labruzzo, Don Schwab and Gawain DiBetta all had good nights. And the Tiger defense played lights out keeping Rice bottled up on its end of the field the whole game. But there was only one score: Doug Moreau, tired out from catching about six passes that night, finally connected on a 28 yard FG inside of the 2-minute warning to give LSU the 3-0 win. And Houston was LIT! 64,000 in the Rice Bowl, about 50,000 LSU fans there.
3-0 win over Rice doesn't seem exhilarating now, but then it was meaningful. Rice was a solid team in the early '60s and had manhandled LSU the 3 years in a row prior to that 3-0 win. It was great, just like the 11-10 win over our archnemesis Ole Miss that year.

Did that game actually take place? I remember it wasn't available on TV or radio the day of the game, and no YouTube or other media exists of that game.

I thoroughly enjoyed the arse-whipping we put on the Mountaineers and specially the fog rolling in to close out the game.
In a close second, even though we lost the game at VA Tech, the pre-night festivities were, let's just say, quite festive. Even the VA National Guard got in on the action and joined the fun!

Quite a few answers on here apparently don’t know what out of conference means and/or don’t know what teams are in SEC.
