Make no mistake, big comeback win today. We need AR back to make some real hay. Great job today, let's get 2 outta 3.

If AR comes back we absolutely have the talent to compete for another NC. Watkins has come in to be a fantastic leadoff. Still have Dean who is already hitting the ball. The only huge glaring hole we have right now is 3rd base. Pitching will come around and the hitters will settle down and get into a grove. We weren't world beaters this time last year either. We are going to lose games it is just a fact. Some pitchers will have our number, but this team has shown that it has the experience on it to come back to win games late. See Arky today or the William and Mary game that we were down by 8.

Seems like we start a little slow under PM, but we did a little under Bertman also. Waaaaay too early to come to a lot of conclusions, our young pitching will get better.

yes it is still early and baseball is a streaky game. It' also crazy because you can lose half your team w/ draft and graduation if you are good like we were last year. Always lots of new faces.

I said a return trip to Omaha would be a great accomplishment before the season and I still think it's true. However, I do like the pieces in place. I don't know if AR can single-handedly lead us there. I'll definitely be patient and I'm very excited to see how we do on the road but I'm not getting expectations too high. Still have a chance to be an awesome team.

Guys like you crack me up. Obviously you have never played competitive sports at a level beyond Little League. You take the first chance to bash the team you can.Pathetic.

If austin Ross doesn't lose his mind and give up two home runs in one innings yesterday, Arkansas would be down 2-0..whats wrong with them

So the series, against a fellow CWS participant, is tied 1-1. Again, what is the reason for the panic?

they are 15-3 and ranked in the top 10 with their ace pitcher having only pitched in one game. I would say there is not a damn thing wrong with this team. This is baseball not football. Have they played their best baseball. Not even close. But i would rather them play their best in may and june.

It's the new fad.....Doom and Gloom....some people can't be happy without finding something to bitch about. It's fricking sad but you will find it in any thread about any game LSU is playing (any sport), quick to jump to the WE SUCK, OUR PLAYERS SUCK, OUR COACHING SUCKS....

It's so true. I will never understand the panic that so quickly spreads, especially in baseball. Hell, we lost 2 of 3 to Illinois last year, and that worked out. And to this weekend, after 15 innings of baseball against a very good team, we have people questioning if this team is CWS material.
