I am, baseball is a slow game so there are breaks.
Just tired of everytime we are losing people come on here trying to act like the sky is falling. Some guy in the thread mentioned getting killed 2 weekend series in a row...this game was barely halfway over when he said that.

Looks like until AR come back we are going to have to outscore teams until they can get to Ott. I certainly will take a win but this big inning was not due to bats but Ark pitching got worse than our middle relief. 4 BB 1 HBP and 2 passed balls. We had a couple of seeing eye singles. Ark is hitting the cover off of the ball

thank you Ark pitching for that 7 run fluke inning.All they had to do in the 7th was stand there with the bat on their shoulder. I'm sure we'll get lots of those from opponents this year

Take this into account:
We lost Schimpf, DJ, Coleman, Ochinko, and Jared Mitchell.
Then we lost 3 top pitchers that went to the pros and a first rounder that also went pro.
Sorry, but the talent has just dropped off a bit. (I still think we are a super regional type team, but I just don't see a repeat).
It's still way too early to pigeonhole this team the way you did. And anyone who has ever watched college baseball knows this.
Were you not around 2 years ago?
If Ranaudo comes back, our entire staff gets better and we could literally go from being at pitching disadvantage in every weekend game to being at an advantage in every game.

Dude your right that the swings have been ugly and the pitching has been inconsistent but it will all come. You just have to be patient. LSU is not playing their best ball right now, but you dont want them to be. They will put it all together and hopefully will gain consistency as the season goes. It's way too early to start predicting how the season will end up. Watching yesterdays game and the first part of today's game made me want to
