Same thing that happened to Bregman. He’s seeing under the ball. Bregman worked on it for months before getting it back.

I think this makes it 4 weekends into a slump. Lost the batting average lead a while back.

It’s only been one weekend of struggles. But yea he’s pressing slightly. Just needs to be more patient and let it come to him. I have no doubt he’ll catch fire soon.

He’s starting to press, and now he isn’t accepting the walks anymore. He’s been swinging at bad pitches over the last couple weeks.

It is more than 3 weeks but when you’re hitting >.500 you only can go down. He is susceptible to the curve for sure. And the back foot breaking ball from a lefty is also hard from him. His swing is open on that pitch.

Needs a little spinner to make that hog look big. He’ll be 10 feet tall.

Can you elaborate a little more as to what this means and how Bregs fixed it?

In his last 14 games and his two at-bats today, Crews is hitting .296 (16 for 54). That is respectable for most players, but it is a far cry from his hitting performance up to that point. He is in a "slump" by his standards. But as some posters have pointed out, everybody has a slump. I just hope that he can get back to form as the SEC and NCAA tournaments begin.

You can tell he is pressing especially in the last at bat. He easily spits on that last pitch three weeks ago.

All the walks messed him up.
