Kelly peaked over a decade ago and was never considered the offensive coach Kiffin is.

Throw out his first season at Ole Miss after taking over the Luke debacle, he has won at least 10 games 3 of his 4 seasons and is 7-1 this season. Kiffin isn't my first choice and he's not that sexy, earth shaking hire many.of you want but LSU would be a perrenial playoff team under Kiffin with maybe a championship(s). I believe that's pretty much a sure thing. The other coaches may turn out better and less douchy but the may turn out worse. It's a crap shoot. Kiffin is less of a gamble than any other coach out there. I wouldn't be mad if he's hired.

Lane is a child with an adult sized body as proven by his trolls on opposing teams.

He would have LSU in the playoffs EVERY year, that's just the gods honest truth.

2nd game of the season, at home vs a lesser team with a bigger lead. You’re saying on the road vs a more talented team is worse than that and you said “imagine Les” having something like that happen when worse happened. So we’re going back, changing the qualifier and introducing double standards now. Ok how about 2008 Arkansas?

They went all in last year at Ole Miss & paid for a top team

This take that they went all in last year is a fallacy, they did not spend nearly as much as LSU. They could not even keep their starting RB on their team from transferring to be a backup at OSU. They had some good defensive players, but they did not have a huge budget to go “all in.” If they did then they sure were able to back it up by having a stronger team this year.

This year we spent $18 million, they spend $10 million. He is beating teams even though he has less talent and a smaller budget at Ole Miss. That’s something no coach has done in over 60 years there.

& his team managed to lose games it shouldn't have! More than likely will again this year.

They will not lose another game this year. Ending up with one loss in the SEC is hard on their limited budget for NIL.

HE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO LEAVE IN THE MIDDL EOF THE NIGHT
What, 15 years ago he left Tennessee for USC, who at that time was still uber relevant?
A mistake, yes, especially with sanctions. But get over it.

He has 4 ten win seasons at friggin Ole Miss in the last 6 years. The only mistake is that we didn't hire him LAST time.

But is he 12/170M good?
I'm not paying his salary, so it doesn't matter to me. We get a ton of tv money.
