No he didnt. He has been pretty clear that he had a 3 year plan.

LSU wont win more than 4 SEC games this year.

If the basics on defense like gap integrity, contain and tackling don't get cleaned up and cleaned up fast 4 SEC losses is very possible. With JD behind center this team is not built to come back or go toe to toe with another offense on JD's legs...JD does not have the passing ability to go toe to toe with other teams. This team needs to be up early with an effective running game to ensure Ws.

Need the generate a pass rush too. Hard to even know if the corners can hold up or not when the QB not only has all day to throw but is always operating within a clean pocket and doesn’t ever even have to step up. You’re spot on with the offense, we’ve been blown out in every game where the opponent gets to 30 points except for Florida.

I love how rabid yet delusional our fanbase is sometimes. It's something that I've always admired.

On the flip side of that, our team is not good nor will we be playing "for a playoff berth" (it's berth, not birth).

#Negatigersunite! Sorry not sorry but regardless

The rant continually told us that FSU players were crap and we would destroy them. Big slow TE and defense line wasn't that good. Now it looks like we think they are world beaters. BTW, the are good.

Top 8? Top 5? Top 3?

The overrating of FSU to try and prop up this team’s embarrassing second half loss to them is getting nauseating.

They are a very good team, but they are only being seen as top 6 because of where LSU was ranked pre-season. They haven’t proved to be that good yet. No one has.

That said, LSU showed flashes in that game and had opportunities that they blew. It could be an interesting rematch in a bowl game if it were to happen.

I mean, that first game didn't instill much confidence in their ability to compete with the top teams.

You can call out blatantly obvious issues with a team that need to be addressed and still be a supporter of that team.

Weren't we a top 5 team, preseason.
National Champion Candidate?
Daniels was a Heisman Candidate?
QB 1st Rd Draft candidate.
Perkins was the best player in NCAA.
Best OL in NCAA.
Best D Lineman in NCAA.

Now we are concerned about Ms St.

Good times, where did they go.

We all saw the turnaround this team made last year after getting beat down at home by Tennessee.

What turn around?

We were lucky to beat Arkansas, who was playing with a QB making his first start.
We were fortunate to beat a down Alabama team.
Georgia drug us up and down the field. Saved a little face when Nuss was forced into the game. We actually looked as if we had an offense.
Then we played a mediocre Purdue team who was playing without their Head Coach and half their team.

The one thing about Coach O, coming out of 2018 he knew he needed to do something with the Offense. He went and got Joe Brady, who was an unknown pretty much, and teamed him up with Ensminger. He held onto Arranda. So Coach O got a great group of coordinators together.

O was here three year and improved every season. He led us to a perfect season.
He will forever have a National Championship by his name.
Heisman Trophy winner, record number of top players entering the NFL.
That wasn't good enough to satisfy the culture.

yes, 2019 was a magical year. O gets credit for that.

But the program immediately imploded after 2019.

It's ok to mention the good stuff, but you've got be intellectually honest and not sweep the bad stuff under the rug.

Ok clown, after that 40-13 beat down at home - who thought we stood a chance against Florida in Gainesville?
Who thought we’d beat Ole Miss if we lose by 27 to Tennessee?
Definitely didn’t think we stood a chance against Bama.

Yet we won 3 games in a row.

That’s the turn around I was talking about. We won the SEC West when it looked like we didn’t stand a chance at the start of October.

And the fact that the coach was so clueless on the actual status of this team and what they did during the offseason and camp.
coming from a tard that didn't know a corner has to play both man and zone. you really shouldn't criticize anyone when it comes to football, you don't know a fricking thing

rting QB still won't throw downfield and makes a lot of stupid decisions(running into sacks, holding the ball entirely too long, throwing balls right at defenders, underthrowing balls...).
yep- Daniels is really going to need to step it up (along with help from his receivers of course) to make this the kind of season we were expecting. I’m not optimistic. Obviously defense will also need to improve dramatically.

Losing to a top 3 team in the first game doesn’t mean this isn’t true.

Getting dog walked and rolling over and quitting in the 4th quarter is a pretty strong indication
