We have a group of friends/family out of DFW that go to 1 game a year. Last two years were A&M and Alabama…..didn’t think it would get any worse than the Bama game and it very well did.

2002 when Bama came here...sat in the East uppers and froze my arse off for that 31-0 embarassment.

31-28 loss to Tuck Fulane in 1982!

Close "Photo Finish" race between TF and Alabama in my "Don't Like* pecking order back then.

LSU vs Tulane was just as big a rivalry as Bama-Auburn and Massa Wife-Miss State.

The Grren Wave (The Slime) need to be back in the SEC so we can close out the season with them again.

Add Oklahoma State for the Sooners finale.

Arkansas and Missouri are then left with each other on the final weekend.

Worst one, La Tech in 2009. Losing at halftime 13-10 and scraped a win.

Worst loss, 2008 Georgia.

Notre Dame 1997.

Cold, gray, miserable, and we played like crap.

Yep, and we got tickets from my wife's boss, a Notre Dame alumnus. So we were sitting in the middle of the visitors' section. The people were pretty nice, but if I never hear that darn "here come the Irish" BS again, it'll be too soon.

The 2007 Arkansas game was even worse for me. Probably the coldest game I have ever been to, and I left thinking we had blown our shot at a national championship.

But the first game to come to my mind was the 2017 homecoming game vs Troy. That was an awful game.

I was offshore for the A&M game last year, so I missed that fiasco, at least.

2024 Bama.

I was able to go down on the field as a part of the 100 years of Tiger Stadium.

Woke up Saturday AM after a few dinner and drinks with a scratch throat and told my wife, this isn't good. Was progressively worse throughout the day. Went down on the field. Took all I had just to stay upright. Sat in the West bleachers shivering and sick as a dog. Game didn't help. What a dud.

I sat through two butt whippings put on us by two teams that went on probation: Fran Curci's Kentucky team and Charley Pell's Gators.

I have 2:
1. LSU vs Troy- took my 63 year old mom to her 1st LSU game and had to sit through that atrocity.
2.LSU vs McNeese- drove from Bossier City with my 2 boys 11 and 7, got in the stadium and watched about 8 minutes or so and lightning in the area, it started raining and didn't stop lightning, sat there in the stadium till 11:30 and they canceled the game. We were soaked, what a let down.

LSU vs Alabama when Shaun Alexander was a freshman.
They ran the ball down our throat, Alexander college debut, he ran for over 200 yds.
All I remember is Alabama coming down the field sounded like a herd of buffaloes stampeding through the Great Plains, with nothing to slow them down.

I feel like this is a modern game where fans earned their stripes. I sat until the bitter end, sitting in the SEZ in the rain with about 75% of the stadium empty. Postgame traffic was solid tho.
