He fought off the supernatural, the ghosts that shoved him down the stairs and the old Civil War generals, in full regalia, that stood over his bed watching him sleep. No, really, his mom said: The property — the one she’s standing on right now, on this sun-splashed Wednesday — is haunted, and the house was, too.

100%

But he’s needs to go.

He’s had rotten luck here with Burrow and the injuries.

New HC coming in, new regime etc.

His best bet will be a fresh change somewhere else for his last and hopefully great season.

I want him to stay but his mind appears to be made up. There wasn’t any reason to announce it unless he was committed to leaving.

Why does he want to leave in the first place? Because we didn’t let him start vs. Bama his 1st game back from injury? He’d probably have started vs. Arkansas if he didn’t commit to transferring.

Should have put him in during the 3rd series against AL and he would have won the game then beat ARK.

He is the best QB on the team. Wish he would stay.

He isn’t medically cleared to play. How could he have played against AL or anybody else?

I'd like him for one more year. New HC recruits some fresh talent and that will give him a year to develop a bit

Brennan will go down as a legend at LSU for having done nothing. He's started 3 games at LSU and for some reason people think he would have been all SEC. He would have been crushed behind this o line. He's a bit more mobile than Mett. Nothing else. His skillset doesn't fit what you need in a modern qb to win a natty. He has a total of 13 td passes. 13. The love affair with Brennan is mind blowing.

i dont frickin care if its rosco p coletrain, who was filling up the snack machines last week, starts now at QB as long as he is good

from what we have seen, i cant believe a new HC comes in and thinks anyone on the team now can play QB, they will have to immediately get some good QB transfers to come in and start just like burrough did

He would be a much needed one year bridge for the new coach to have some stability in rebuilding the program. I wish he would stay but I guess he figures he's been maligned too much in his time at LSU and he needs to make starting in his final season a sure thing with a transfer to a program in need. There's no question he should start over Max and Nuss but he's probably worried about if he would based on his 5 years at LSU.

Why would I wish for him to stay?
I want the new HC to find a QB that best suits his system.
I want Brennan to find a team where he will be utilized to the best of his ability.
If the new Coach believes Brennan is the man, of course I want him to stay.

I think his Loyalty and Preponderance for bad luck, is what makes him a sympathetic character in the eyes of LSU fans. Everyone’s life has a plan and unfortunately his was NOT to be the QB at LSU. I never doubted his love and work ethic for the Tigers, it just wasn’t in the cards. I hope he goes somewhere and has a great year, but his lack of Mobility and Body frame will prevent him for being a NFL starting QB (UFA backup) at best. Word of Advice

I get this
quote:

but his lack of Mobility
would have gotten him killed this season. Career 60.2 completion percentage and he started against two really bad and one average defenses last season. Brennan would have been smoked this year as the starter. UCLA would have sacked him 10 times.
