2012 Bama game, Mettenberger hit Copeland out of the backfield, Copeland broke a tackle and took it down the sideline to midfield.

1. After Herb Tyler's 2nd touchdown against Florida in 1997.
2. After Tommy Banks scored against Florida in 1997.

Nothing else comes remotely close. Just watch clips on youtube of that game. Every LSU fan in that stadium, young and old was going nuts anytime LSU did anything good.

I thought they said the Tiger Stadium peak was 129.8 for Florida 2007 as being the loudest recorded sound?

All of this.
Best moment in LSU sports history, IMO.
When every other fanbase in America would get deflated by the other team scoring, LSU's fans willed its team to victory.
Absolutely incredible.

I could have sworn that there was a Richt quote saying the worst coaching he ever did was scoring on LSU in that game because it just unified the stadium. I can't seem to find it but maybe I just suck at the Google machine.

I know you old timers like to pimp this game, and it was a great time for ALL Tiger fans, but come on... Florida 07, Auburn 07, Bama 08(on the blocked FG), Georgia 03, and when Jamal Adams picked off Hurts early in the 16 game were all reeeeeeally loud too..

As far as sustained noise, it’s 2003 Georgia for me. I was in the upper deck. I can only imagine how loud it was in the lower bowl.

Loudest sustained crowd noise was actually Florida 2009. I don't believe we scored a TD that came, so just never got to experience a full blown eruption from the crowd. I can remember just waiting for it to happen...for the stadium to just burst at the seams, and it never came. Very frustrating game.
I remember and interview by Urban Meyer and him saying he couldn't believe how loud it was, and he took his headphones off at one point to experience it...or something like that

Bama game 2014 recovered fumble or Florida 2007 last TD were probably the loudest moments though that I remember

Top 3 I've been to are:

1. 1988 Auburn (earthquake)
2. 1997 Florida
3. 2007 Florida

2011 Auburn and Florida games were also very loud.

USCe In 2012 is an underrated game in my opinion.

2007 was nuts, so was 2012 bama with the sustained intensity of yelling.

2007 UF, when they announced Stanford upset USC making us the CLEAR #1

2007 Auburn gets an honorable mention as well

I wasn't able to attend Bama 2008, but I'd have to imagine the blocked kick at the end has to be up there as one of the loudest moments. Just hearing the crowd on tv...it sounds ear splitting

Been at almost every game mentioned in here but 07 Florida and the 97 game was the loudest with 12/14/18 bama games a close second. Last year's bama game the first drive was insane.

97 Florida was the most sustained and had the most exciting feel, 2012 bama was second.

I wasn't at 2007 UF so can't compare that nor was I at UGA in 03.
