I would just insert Scaimbra at leadoff / RF

I'm guessing you mean anywhere in spots 1 to 7, which means that all but 1 game of the season was a mistake. gotcha.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. He's the 2nd worst hitter and possibly the worst of the 10-11 regulars. Why he's been at the top of the lineup is an anomly and pretty unjustifiable.

2/3
1/3
2/4
0/4
1/4
2/4
1/5

13/35 - .371 avg

Im sorry youre right. He's possibly the worst of the 9-10 regulars, not 10-11. He's got the 3rd worst OBP of the regulars.

Youre telling me, with the game on the line in a tied game, you'd rather have Laird up than Ibarra, because batting him leadoff and Ibarra 6th is exactly what that's saying. That's ridiculous.

I dont want to leadoff Ibarra, but that's def a better option the batting him 6th and letting Laird leadoff. Do I watch baseball? lol. A little.

Go ahead and laugh, but im right and youre wrong. Laird anywhere near the top of the lineup is a mistake, period. And yes, the "stats" back that claim up.

But our wins and losses don't back it up. Sometimes things just work that shouldn't. Coaches hunch.
