1. Look beyond the first page of the Rant, since it was on the second page.
2. Use the search function to see if there are any more recent developments.

Right, so find the one that was from today. That thread contains an update from - wait for it - TODAY
ok..one more. So you're saying i log in and there is a thread titled "what's the latest on McMullen" and there are 15 plus pages and even though the first pages are from a few days ago...im not supposed to think maybe an update from today might be in the last few pages?
wow

To be fair, the search function blows.
On second thought, I could see the frustration of going through 16 pages of bickering and finding no information on McMullen.

Thank you lsu2006. A severe backhanded compliment, but I'll take it. Youre not too bad for being black.

I now like dnm3305. I don't agree with all of his baseball ideas, but all in all seems like an allright guy.

I actually enjoyed reading this thread. I also love the debates between old school baseball purists and the techno wizards. Both have a lot of merit to their ideas.
Many a manager has had to answer questions about their lineup. And many a manger has had to answer tough questions about substitutions and pitching matchups. The debate will never die and that is a good thing.
I see some of these new thoughts creeping into the game now and then and believe we will see more a the game goes on.

Laird anywhere near the top of the lineup is a mistake, period. And yes, the "stats" back that claim up.
Ummmm. You were saying?
