I have more faith in Moore's bat than Bregman's glove.

I agree.

Not trying to turn this into a Foster thread, but he's batting 355.
That's the 3rd highest average on the team. Foster needs to be playing regardless of pitching match ups.

He doesn't have many at bats and struggles vs RHP

Hmmm...that's a tough one. I'd still take my boy Bregman

Foster was at .400. Batting second is not for him. With laird back, your outfield is set. PM isn't changing it and he's going for the matchups (hate it or love it). Moore may put terrible swings on the ball just to put it in play, but he doesn't let pressure get to him. Foster shite the bed.

He's had over 60 at bats. His average is not an anomaly .
By example, Alex Edward has had over 50 at bats, and ill go out on a limb and say nobody is calling his 250 average an anomaly because of limited at bats.

LOL, he shite the bed by hitting a homer to help preserve a victory in game 1? One game where he goes o-fer is shitting the bed? So I guess everyone on the team has as well

Was I talking about game 1? I was trying to say that with Laird back and the possibility of Mac out, Foster in the 2 spot as DH isn't a lock. He's better against lefties in the bottom of the lineup where he can get better pitches. I love him in that spot. Moore the same way vs. righties.

I'd like to see Foster get another shot but I can kinda understand against the RHP OU has. Whoever said Foster shite the bed above is an idiot. He's been on fire for the past month and had one bad game. He also is a big reason we won against Vandy with a clutch diving catch in the outfield and a critical out he threw at home plate.

It won't matter who is in the lineup on Friday, hits will be scarce. Execution and timely hitting will be the difference in this pitchers duel.

How is 0-6 in the biggest game of the year to date not shitting the bed? And I'm not saying punish him for it. I'm saying he should continue to be a pivotal role player in the right spot that helps him succeed the most.

Mcmullin was our DH, Foster should take his place!!!
I was shocked when he didn't use him as DH against ULL ! This isn't even close he's our 3rd best batter!!

If you think BA completely by itself determines how good a hitter is, then Nate Fury should be batting 3rd, and Beau Didier was the best hitter on the '09 championship team.

I'd like to see jacoby leadoff with McMullen 2nd. he's a capable base runner and a threat at the plate. You won't get away with piping a fastball to start the game. I think it puts more pressure on the starting pitcher right out of the gate. McMullen can get it all done from the 2 hole.....bunt, hit and run, etc

Jones
Mcmullen
Bregman
Katz
Rhymes
Ibarra
Laird
Ross
Stevenson
