I've never seen TS get as loud as it did when Green caught the pass in the end zone in the student section on a completely busted up play. Yes, louder than the '07 UF game when USC was announced that they had lost.

I feel like the loudest single moment was Bama '08 when we blocked that field goal at the end of regulation.

The Georgia game in 03 is my favorite, and the most important game in LSU history imo.

ETA: The Florida and Auburn games of 07 were magic as was the Florida game of 97. And just to include a loss the 08 Bama game was insane.

3) LSU vs. Auburn 2005

Meh. Ending was great but a very sloppy game on both sides. Auburn missed a bunch of field goals, and if I remember correctly we had a bunch of dropped passes. Only 10 points in regulation for LSU were offense, other 7 scored by a Skyler punt return. I wouldn't classify a game where we played down to a less talented team as one of the all time greats.

UGA 03 was a similarly low scoring game with an exciting ending, but against a much more worthy opponent, and bigger for the program.

While the Florida and Georgia games are a given, I will always remember the Oregon St game that was the first game of the season in 2004 I believe.

That game was unbelievable, needing the kicker to miss a shite load of chip shots.

It also stormed like hell right before kick off, with streakers and all

LSU against Loyola-Marymount in basketball. I have never seen anything like it ever.

LSU vs Fla 2007

LSU vs Ga 2003

LSU vs Fla 1997

In that order. If I hadn't watched the 2007 game around the camp fire with some great company, I would put LSU/Ga in front.

USC 1979 and it's not close. Besides the greatest crowd in sports history, USC was the most talented team to ever invade Tiger Stadium. If you weren't there, you can't know.

Excellent choice

The 2000-2001 Sugar Bowl against Illinois was sweet. I'd seen us play Nebraska (and lose) there, and that was nice- just like playing in and losing the 82 Orange. In a lot of ways it was nice to just get there, just like Arky this year.

Winning in a blowout was great. No more "glad to be here" after that!

Prejudiced because I played in it ( special teams) but USC in Tiger
Stadium was magical (despite the loss).

Earthquake game for me. I was there sitting in the north endzone and remember Hodson to Fuller very well.

All you youngsters are saying games in the 2000's. Us longtime LSU fans remember the game against Fla State when they were #1 and got beat something like 45-21 by the Tigers. I think that might have even been the FOG game in the 80's I think.

If you could please share some more thoughts about the game, I would love to hear about it.

I still can't even find anyone who took a few decent pictures of the game - it's probably the one LSU thing I'd really like to find.
