“You didn't even go there". Usually shuts them up.

It's stupid but I get a kick out of it.

expecting a non-alum to read and comprehend.

I've said this before but here goes again... passionate fans are passionate fans no matter how they got to that point. I never look down on anyone standing next to me in TS just because they didn't go to school there. However, us alumni have experiences with the school and campus that the non-alumni fan never will have. I will always argue that wins, returning to campus, and everything else just means a little something extra to us.

Without non-alumni fans no program could ascend to be a major football program. Main reason being is that not all alumni give a frick about supporting the team.

I like anyone who supports the Tigers whether they went to LSU or not.

I do think you gain a connection by actually attending the school that those who didn't will never have but it doesn't mean they are better fans.

Because it's not relevant at all. All you wanted to do was have a "look at me" moment. You wanted TD to laugh with you at trying to insult people by telling them they didn't go to LSU when they have an opinion with which you disagree.

That's not at all what happened. I made a statement about making fun of miserable fans. It's fun. You know it is. I'm sure you've done it before as well.

I made a post about how I've seen both sides of the coin, made fun of some miserable fans and have lots of friends and family who are great fans. Somehow you took offense to that.

So yea, I'm gonna entertain myself for a while and call you a non-alum.

All you had to do was read and comprehend my 1st post in this thread to Bozo.
Did reading and comprehension escape that huge brain? I’m not so sure you have a high school diploma...

You used those words, look in Webster’s to see what they mean, Albert..

At least ell_13 was knowledgeable and entertaining. I don't even know where to go with this one.

You're assuming I'm going to pass the 9th grade. Poor assumption.

The only reason I wouldn't count non-alumni as fans are the ones who don't support the school overall.

I seriously despise all those people who claim to be diehard UA football fans, and a few months later they are now UK basketball fans.

You do not have to go to LSU to be a fan. However, it is usually the fans who did not attend LSU who are quick to bash the team/university when the ship hits bumpy waters.

I went to LSU, my dad did not (Michigan) but we booth root like hell for the other team.

I will make a wager since there is no way to prove one way or other:

LSU has gotten as much $ and help from non-alumni that from actual alumni.

For a fact, I know of at least two individuals, one for sure who didn't even finish high school, who have given more cash to LSU than any of the next five who did finish.

I always get my drawers in a wad when people look down on those of us who did not go to LSU. There are tons more LSU fans who did not go to school there than those who did.

Can't fill up a 100k+ stadium with just alumni. You definitely can't build one that way.
