I have to say, it's very on-brand for the Rant to learn that a former football player got drunk and killed a couple people and rather than question why 10 days later no charges have been brought, instead obsess about my presentation and personality.

Most of the banter was before any article was posted. What seemed like an innocent nostalgia thread turned dark when you posted the situation. Now you’re trying to say “gotcha” to everyone in here that had no clue about it until the article was posted by Nakamoto hours later.

It's not about me at all, that's my point. A football player is getting special treatment (not the first time for him by Hillar Moore) and after the news confirmed it, it's still "what's your angle?" and "you're weird".

The guy had an active warrant, got drunk and killed two people. Why wasn't he arrested? Why did it take this thread for his name to hit the local news? Who is protecting him?

The comments stem from being weird af by trying to make a tragic situation be about yourself in a “gotcha” moment. No one knew anything about this. Just delivering the news would yield better responses. Regardless sounds like a sad situation.
