I'll probably get up for a good breakfast - eggs, sausage, toast, coffee. Then, get a sweat in. Either Michelob Ultra or White Claw for the game. Starting a jambalaya after the game and maybe switch over to some whiskey to celebrate.

it's a big football day, so the big meal won't come until after the LSU game. have some deer meat I took out of the freezer. i'm going to experiment with slow cooking - going to add some fat to the meat, of course. the wife is making her killer potato salad.

I cooked down a chuck roast in the crockpot to heat up and serve over grits.

However, I’m considering straining it and taking the drippings to turn into a gravy for roast beef and dubris po’boys

Lighting the grill with about 8-10 minutes left in the 2nd qtr. Then at halftime I'm grilling some burgers, Conecuh smoked sausage, shrimp boudin, and hot wings. I have TVs (that's right, plural) outside so I don't mind if the cooking time spills over into the 3rd.

I'll be cracking my first beer around 10:30, then switching to Jack sometime later in the evening.

Might as well just drink water instead of that flavorless domestic piss.
