re: What’s more frustrating for you to watch? A Les Miles offense or a Matt House defense?

its not even close. This defense is all time bad.
Les Miles offense was not great, but they could put up decent numbers against bad/average teams. It just was terrible against great defenses.
This defense is bad against everyone.

they are equally frustrating, but if we are talking about one game then not crossing the 50 is still more frustrating to me. i think we crossed maybe once in that game? screw that.
it's easy to live in the now though, but being shutout is worse to me. they was literally no hope whatsoever and a coach who would not even try a qb change.
one could argue the defense could still score though.

Miles completely skull drug like 80% of the teams we played for most of his tenure. His offense got shut the heck down when he played a really good defense, but for the most part those offenses were much better than this defense. There have been games this year where I am positive teams like Tulane could step in and do a much better job defensively.

Miles always gave you a chance and you knew they would bring it on the technique side. We cant even tackle.

A Lou Tepper defense
A Cam Cameron offense
A Brian Polian special teams
A Les Miles offense
A Matt House 2023 defense
THAT IS THE LIST.

That run game was really hard to stop late 3rd and 4th quarter
Matt house doesn't stop anybody with a pulse

Matt needs to sell his House and quit coaching football.

A Les Miles offense WITH a Matt House defense! That's what we could see Saturday night, with Nuss starting a game likely in.the.RAIN!!

Sterling observation (and some gut-wrenching/PTSD memories).
Can the D avoid heart-med, track-meet games vs. Florida and A&M? We have zero confidence.

I still say Les Miles and it isn't close.
He had terrific players year after year and yet would never get the best out of them. Ever.
House is absolute cat shite, but it's not like he has an infinite amount of talent to work with.

The Matt House defense. Not even close.

This defense is more frustrating bc it is so hopeless against any average offense. At least the Miles offense could scratch together enough points to beat most teams.
The Miles offense was hopeless against Bama though. So I don’t know what’s worse, losing 42-28 or 20-13.

This defense is way worse than even the Lou Tepper catastrophe.

Miles offense. Think of the wasted/misused talent
Now with House we’ve never really had elite personnel.

To me bad defense is way more frustrating than bad offense. But I get the opposite opinion
Especially when you just know you have no chance to get off the field on third down

Y’all keep saying this… you do realize, going into this season, we had the #1 ranked defensive player on our team right??
Posted on 11/9/23 at 4:32 am to 8miles
Les Miles had the talent on offense, House's house is empty.
