I hate to say it but the main reason is that this team is not very exciting to watch.

Now they say Missouri has beaten LSU but not at the Box. Fake news?

Had over 9,000 for the doubleheader today and 17k+ for the two day series.

Many left after 14-2 game 1 victory for dinner or other activities.

Those numbers are actual not tickets sold.

My best guess is our fans have been spoiled by the success of the program and now find the regular season to be pretty meaningless

Your first few reasons were legit. However, if you (or anyone else) don’t go to games because of this then you are a pussy

His coaching is so terrible that LSU played in the CWS Championship series just last season??

Go back to scalping your tickets on the Ticket Exchange Board......

I think it was all St. Patrick's day. Parade at 10 am. A lot of people started drinking before that. Huge crowd out in BR yesterday. Easily thousands at tigerland where you can see the ballpark.

And no green beer at Alex Box.

I think that's part of it. I think another part is that much like football it's become more the party than the event that draws. I know quite a few folks who go to the games to tailgate and imbibe and could really care less about the game and simply sit it out at the tailgate, ticket in pocket.
