Im trying to decide which game to attend for a few old friends to travel to next year and I got it down to Kentucky or Tennessee. none of us have been to either school.
Im leaning Kentucky, but I was hoping some of yall could lend some advice on the matter.

Kentucky for sure. You have the bourbon trail and Keenland within a short drive. Tennessee is cool but outside of the school there’s not nearly as much.

I’ll say this, weather will be great in Kentucky in October and Keeneland race track will be running.

Never been to either but TN neyland stadium more iconic venue for sure. Probably more to do around Kentucky though like poster said above me.

Kentucky. Went in 2021. Keeneland is fricking awesome and theres plenty of whiskey tours you can take if thats your thing. Also loved being able to play Keno at all their bars although i spent way to much money on it lol.
Knoxville is fun. Went in 2017. The bar scene is top notch. Downtown Knoxville surprised the hell out of me with its size and bar scene. That was the year it poured raining during the game so we ended up leaving at half and had a hell of a time at a country bar called the Wagon Wheel after.
Kentucky gets the nod for Keeneland.

Neyland is a dump. My son goes there. No pregame festivities to speak of. Not much to do in Knoxville.

Tennessee's stadium is the worst stadium in the SEC, IMO.

If you go to Neyland you better have a skinny arse. We went with a party of ten. We were on the end of the row. The last two people had to sit in the aisle. The seat markers were 12" apart. None of us was over weight.

Agreed if TS seats were as narrow as Neyland we could put 120K in the stands.

The dates strongly favor UK. If UTenn was say mid-October, then the Smoky Mountains would be a great attraction.

Only the most visited National Park in America.
Edit: But October in KY > November in Tennessee

“Tennessee's stadium is the worst stadium in the SEC, IMO.”
I have only been to 6 other SEC stadiums, but this was absolutely a TRUE statement.

Tell us you’ve never been to Knoxville without explicitly saying it.
Knoxville is the most boring city in history.
