This is just my worthless opinion, but I don't think a coach can win 9 games in his first year and be considered "on the hot seat." Was it disappointing? Sure, but any other coach wouldn't be considered on the hot seat now. So, I only think it's fair he isn't either.
Now, 8 wins, 9 wins and it's still ugly, then he goes in next year with a make or break number of wins.

This is LSU and Orgeron is an exception because he’s basically being brought in to win now. This isn’t Texas where you have to build from scratch. We are capable of winning now and Orgeron knows that. It’s 10 wins or bust this year. If he can’t win 10 then that means no improvement was made and he is gone.

I can't argue with that line of thinking. I guess I'm just trying to be fair, but his past probably has a lot to do with how hot his seat gets and how fast as well.

I hate being honest so I'd probably say, "This sucks. The 15 teams we beat this season weren't worth a crap and I hate the we snapped our 7 game losing streak to bama."

I don't remember much of what happened after the game in 2003. I found out later I put a cash advance on one of my credit cards at Harrah's but I was too happy to care.

Les provided his own brand of maddening fodder for criticism with his stubbornness, clock mismanagement, and underachieving style of play.
Don't kid yourself.
But there is one glaring difference. I railed Les primarily during the season while he was shitting the bed. NOT during the entire offseason when optimism was running high.
I went into every season on a positive note and Les found creative ways to frick things up while making the average fan pull their hair out. I got the vitriol out of my system and then usually moved on until the next season.
You guys are at this O thing 24/7/365. Its beyond pathetic and not even close in comparison with what Les got.

I can only speak for myself, but I only respond to stuff about that game. I don't bring it up first. Also, I can't stand when people just respond with "Troy". If your going to discuss it, I believe you should at least give some specifics about what you don't approve of.

O will never move past that game until he actually does something of note on the field.
If he somehow beats Bama this year and maybe puts an azz-whipping on UGA/Auburn at JH.....that would be notable.
