12. Shows how dumb the ranking system is.

If we started the season ranked and lost to FSU by 1 last week, we’d be much higher

A 5-0 LSU team would be top 15 easy

I would not worry much about rankings, LSU takes care of its business, the rankings take care of themselves.

Pretty close. We didn’t get a lot of love before the season, so something tells me the close win over FSU and Auburn would cause the AP to keep us further down.

Not that I’m upset about it. We really haven’t shown we belong in the top ten.

(Not yet at least)

I do not think it will matter going forward as LSU is set to lose a lot of games because it’s offense is terrible.

My guess would be about 17-21 range.

LSU is a highly respected powerhouse brand. If LSU was 5-0 we would be in the highest grouping of undefeated teams - so no lower than 11th.

Had high hopes coming into the season

Thought 5-0 LSU would be playing 4-0 Tennessee this weekend in a top 10 matchup and we’d be hosting college Gameday this weekend. If only we sent that game into OT and won against FSU. What could’ve been this weekend!
