Jay Johnson started Skenes tomorrow vs Tulane? Could you see any positives to doing so?

I’ll be surprised and really hope the weekend works out for him because I won’t enjoy his responses at that press conference afterwards.

IF he does start...don't let it put a damper on your weekend. Just go enjoy yourself with the family and try not to get too worked up about decisions that you have no control of.

WAYY more cons though considering LSU doesn’t need to start him to get the win. We should win with near anyone on the mound. you losing Skenes for the rest of the weekend when he will actually be needed would make that an idiotic decision

Personally i think it's a smoke screen by CJJ. Its Hurd.. everything points to it being Hurd.. just wants to give Tulane one more arm to think ab.

No, why start Skenes against a 19-40 Tulame team. I would go with Hurd or Floyd. Start Skenes in game 2.

The positive would be you definitely win the game. That’s about it.
I said Hurd when the matchups were announced but the closer we get and understanding the teams you are playing more I understand pitching Floyd. In no circumstance do I get going with Skenes.
Pitching depth on all 4 teams is not good and if LSU goes 2-0 in this regional they will score 10+ runs on whatever pitchers the other teams have left in the regional championship. I get pitching your best guys to make sure you get to 2-0.
