Assume 2011 Football & 11-12 bball

Tomorrow's challenge will be like none other...I'll still say Kentucky beating LSU in football would have been a bigger upset.

I think they are pretty even. Great comparison.

I am pretty sure that Kentucky fans would say "LSU winning in basketball would be a disgrace."

Football would be much more of an upset. Major basketball upsets happen every week.

Kentucky beating LSU in football would basically cripple our season. LSU beating Kentucky in the sec tournament would just be a small speed bump on their march to a championship

The bigger upset has to be LSU beating Ky in b-ball. Kentucky has been on the national stage with its b-ball program for decades. LSU has been a national football mainstay for about 10-12 years. This is a no brainer!

Is this with or without Jordan Jefferson at quarterback?

Oh look. A gump here kind enough to remind us we never won a game or knew how to buckle a chinstrap before Saban.

If you are talking about this year then it woud be a tossup. But if you saw how dominant Kentucky was in the first BB game and how they have dominated everyone in the SEC then I would say basketball. Kentucky's average winning margin in conference is 16 points.

I'm on the ropes with this one. Part of me says football...but the other part of me says basketball and it isn't even close. I feel like if LSU were to knock off Kentucky in basketball it would be like ULL beating LSU in football

lsu in basketball would definitely be a bigger upset. I think Kentucky in football is better that LSU in basketball and Kentucky basketball is as good as LSU football, actually they certainly have more tradition than LSU basketball.

How many wins do you think LSU has all time?

I'm curious.

LSU lost no game fewer than 13 points outside of a team in Crimson. LSU also was favored by 35 points in football. Kentucky will likely be favored by 21 or 22 IMO

Basketball is a sport in which a single player can turn a losing team into a championship team.

Since no single player can have the same impact in football (no, not even Cam Newton or Tebow so don't go there), the upset in basketball would be far more likely.
