Kelly got lazy and didn’t do his job to level he should have at the end, but he did stabilize a program that was in freefall after Orgeron went off the rails. I don’t think Kelly forgot how to coach, but I do think he thought he could work hard to stabilize it and then coast to national championships at LSU and it cost him. However, he did bring the program back to winning a respectable amount of games in what could have been a trip back to the 90s…. So, you at least have to give him credit for that. But still…. frick that dude for calling the fans spoiled and just all around being a massive douche.
