No excuses, this team is a slightly above average SEC team. I'm not sure why everyone still thinks this is a championship caliber club. Perfect example of why preseason rankings are garbage.

It’s not only the pre season ranking. I think the recruiting ranking was inflated too. Lots of guys have not panned out.

How about the fact they just aren’t playing good baseball this weekend? Doesn’t mean they can’t. Doesn’t mean they won’t moving forward. This same team also beat a top ten team on the road and a top 15 team at home. Thy aren’t laying consistent baseball. If they can figure out how to be consistent they will be fine.

Just an ugly week all around. Lost to #200 RPI Southern. Lose a series at unranked Mizzou, giving up almost 30 runs.
