the 14-14 tie. Really good game but nobody left feeling good.
I was 13 or so. I had been to a bunch of Ala games but never a road game that came down to the wire. Place was electric. I love LSU a little more than the rest because of that day with my dad, bought some LSU shorts in the stadium gift shop after the game. Not sure my dad loved that.

Season opener, 1983 against Florida State, which was a day game.
It was my first year at LSU-- I was a sophomore and had gone to Trinity in San Antonio on scholarship my freshman year. Didn't really like it and all my friends who were going to LSU were calling me and telling me what a blast it was. Plus LSU had a great team that year and Trinity was something like Division 3; they even played some Mexican college teams. So I left Trinity and transferred to LSU for my sophomore year. One of my best decisions ever.
I had attended college games growing up before- Miss. State, USM, and Tulane (one game in Tulane stadium, lots more in the Superdome). But nothing was like Tiger Stadium.
Two weeks later I experienced my first Saturday night in Tiger Stadium, a blowout win over highly-ranked Washington. That for many years was the largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history. We watched it sitting in the aisles. After that they began limiting student tickets; up till that game you just showed your ID and got in.
Great memories...

Was in the LSU band, played in front of 80,000+ fans against Texas A&M Sept 3,1994. I remember it like it was yesterday. When I was on the field for pregame I thought I was going to piss on myself it was so excited and nervous. Then found out early the next morning my father had passed away that Saturday.

1997- LSU lost to Notre Dame 24-6. Kevin Faulk broke the LSU career rushing record that game though and they beat Notre Dame in the Independence Bowl later that year.

LSU v. Florida 1997
My parents brought me, but I was three and don’t remember any of it.

Unofficially, the 1991 Vanderbilt game. It was a thriller, and that shows you where our program was at the time.
I know that I had earlier trips to Tiger Stadium in my life but this is the first memory I can recall. I was 9 years old sitting in the northeast corner with my parents. Looking down the goal line. I can still vividly see the ball pop loose. To this day it is one of my all time favorite football memories. That was Curly's first win and everyone was going nuts.
Later that season is another memory that's seared into my brain. #1 FSU comes to play and no matter how many times my dad corrected me i thought everything worked like pro wrestling and that if we beat #1 we became #1. Chad Loup found Kinchen for like 70 yards on our 2nd play and the stadium went insane. Then a monsoon hit and we lost. And the Hallman Era became what I knew LSU football to be.

LSU ULM 2003. What’s crazy is that I ended up going to college at ULM. Still a diehard Tiger fan to this day though.

LSU vs Tulane. Tommy Hodson was the QB. The Tulane QB was a running QB. There were 2 African American girls sitting behind me. Every time he ran, they would yell, “BREAK HIS LEGS!!!”

In 1963 I was 7 and went to my first LSU game with My Dad and Uncle. LSU beat Kentucky but I forget the score. I do remember the hamburger was terrible. Lol.

1983 or 1984. I was a kid and remember watching Jeff Wickersham and Dalton Hillard play.
